energyspex releases new calendar of events
energyspex Limited have released their new calendar of energy related events for the Middle East, predicting the region’s influence on the worldwide market will continue to increase.
Steve Church, Managing Director, explains: “When you consider the new expansion plans, increased investment and renowned technical expertise throughout the Middle East, it is clear the region will continue to exert even more influence on the international stage for decades to come. The region, and the UAE in particular, therefore provides the obvious geographical position from which to launch our new events.”
“Industry events provide a unique opportunity to hear firsthand from leading experts in their field and to discuss important issues with your peers. However, with time spent away from the workplace proving to be a precious commodity, there is a important onus on event organisers to ensure a quality product is delivered each and every time,” he added.
Following several weeks of in-depth research with the wider industry, BOL 2012 is scheduled to take place 21 – 23 May in Abu Dhabi. The conference will examine and debate the major issues affecting the future development of base oils and lubricants. With a mix of major base oil refiners, blenders, lubricant producers and the leading technology and service providers to the industry, the event will identify the key challenges and opportunities for today’s market. A full exhibition will run alongside the conference and will provide a showcase for the very latest technological developments and innovations for the base oils and lubricants industries.
Later in the year, two further events are also scheduled to take place in the UAE focusing on refining and transportation fuels (FUELS 2012, 17 – 19 September) and oil, gas, water and plant pipes (PIPELINE 2012, 10 – 12 December).
Spencer Collins, energyspex Business Development & Marketing Manager, said of the company’s future plans for the Middle East: “Looking even further ahead and based on current levels of demand, we are already planning additional events for the region covering supply, transit and trade of oil and gas related products, petrochemicals, exploration and production, corrosion control, utilities and renewable energy.”
“We look forward to meeting clients old and new throughout the Middle East during the coming months, as we embark on an exciting period of development for energyspex,” concluded Church.
