energyspex targets the Middle East energy sector

energyspex Limited today announced their expansion into the Middle East energy sector. During the coming months, a number of new projects will be introduced into the region designed to identify the key challenges and opportunities for the energy market.

Following a period of consolidation of its UK activities, energyspex is now looking to develop its presence further in the Middle East. Steve Church, Managing Director, explained: “After concentrating recent efforts on domestic projects here in the UK, the company is now ready to embark on a new phase in its overseas development. Due to its unique and influential impact on worldwide energy issues, the Middle East provides the obvious geographical position from which to launch a number of new and exciting products.”

Having previously been active in the region’s events industry, energyspex will initially focus their Middle East activities on their core business strengths of organising conferences, exhibitions and training workshops. During 2012, they plan to establish a number of events covering the key areas of: base oils and lubricants; refining and transportation fuels; and oil, gas, water and plant pipelines. “For the worldwide energy market, the Middle East is more important than ever. New expansion, increased investment and renowned technical expertise means the region will continue to exert even more influence for decades to come,” Church added.

During recent weeks, energyspex has also completed its own internal reorganisation. Having previously operated under a number of different divisions, which targeted specific sections of the energy market, the company has now brought these altogether under the energyspex name.

One of these divisions, Downstream Connection, has previously been active in the Middle East having organised the FUELS Conference & Exhibition in Abu Dhabi. Spencer Collins, Business Development & Marketing Manager, said of the reorganisation: “The streamlining of our different business segments will not only provide added convenience for our clients, but will also help to develop brand recognition as we seek to expand our operations further on the global scene.”
